Trimester Two, Week 12
28th March 2011
Hopefully your trimester has gone well and you will have submitted or are about to submit your coursework, or you are well prepared for any forthcoming exams.
During your university career, there may be times when you encounter problems which have a negative impact on your work. This is a potentially difficult area and it is important you know what constitutes 'mitigating circumstances' and how the process functions. Failure to follow the correct procedure could have a negative impact on any claim, so the advice in this podcast is very important.
And remember, there is a vast range of support available at the university and your course leader of personal development tutor are ideal people to speak to if you have any problems.
You can also get support from NSA, they have specific advice for submission of mitigating circumstances, access this here: http://www.napierstudents.com/advice/disruption.php
